- It may not be practicable to have a HD floppy drive if the engineering
- and manufacturing costs outweigh the usage. I suggest that a double
- spin CD-ROM drive would bring much more enthusiasm. It would give the
- Amiga a slight edge on the average base current system, give a bit of
- software protection from piracy, tons of soft to come with various
- applications, dealers sales of external removable media devices and the
- countless opportunities that a double spin built in CD-ROM would deliver.
- I'm thinking - audio, video, photographs, multi-media, files -. I've got
- a CD-ROM drive already, but without common standards and quantity shipping
- in a base system.. CD will never be thought of as first choice.
