  27. It may not be practicable to have a HD floppy drive if the engineering 
  28. and manufacturing costs outweigh the usage. I suggest that a double 
  29. spin CD-ROM drive would bring much more enthusiasm. It would give the 
  30. Amiga a slight edge on the average base current system, give a bit of 
  31. software protection from piracy, tons of soft to come with various 
  32. applications, dealers sales of external removable media devices and the 
  33. countless opportunities that a double spin built in CD-ROM would deliver. 
  34. I'm thinking - audio, video, photographs, multi-media, files -. I've got 
  35. a CD-ROM drive already, but without common standards and quantity shipping 
  36. in a base system.. CD will never be thought of as first choice.

  38. Positive aspects of a new Amiga with a CD-ROM built in are too many to 
  39. mention. Let's go for it 'AT'?
